Paramount is just one of the many subsidiaries owned by this mega corporation, but the name was chosen because of its popular brand recognition.&nbsp; The merger means a greatly expanded content library when compared to the old CBS platform, and Paramount Plus has big plans to pour money into original content in the coming years. Alongside the full CBS catalog you’ll find BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, the Smithsonian Channel. Estimates put the current library of movies at around 2,500 (Including every Paramount classic) and more than 30,000 individual episodes of popular TV shows.&nbsp; What’s more, you’ll get access to a range of live sports, including a pretty respectable number of local options. The platform promises at least 1,000 live sporting events per year, covering NFL games, the PGA Tour and NCAA March Madness. Soccer fans are well looked after too, with the UEFA Champions league and a number of South American leagues included.&nbsp; You can watch live CBS news, plus its local affiliate in any region of the US, and enjoy a range of pre recorded shows like 60 Minutes and The Lie Detector. The helpline is only open 9AM to 12PM ET and there’s no live chat function offered. The platform does encourage you to reach out over social media, however, and you may get a faster response than raising an email ticket.&nbsp;</p><h2>Account cancellation &amp; money back</h2><p>Paramount Plus can be canceled at any time and you won’t have to sign a long term contract. Once cancelled, your subscription will run to the end of the month, and you won’t be charged any more.</p><h2>Summary</h2><p>While Paramount Plus doesn’t yet have the same number of brand new, show-stopping titles found over at Netflix or Disney, it’s pouring money into fresh content at quite the pace.
